TS LAWCET Pattern 2018

TS LAWCET is a common entrance exam conducted for admission in Law courses. It becomes important that all students who take TS LAWCET must understand the syllabus and examination pattern well before taking the examination. Students need to check for the mode of exam with Kakatia University every year.

Exam Pattern of TS LAWCET 2018 :

Exam Mode :

  • TS LAWCET 2018 will be held on May 27 in offline mode and will be a pen and paper based exam.

Exam Duration : 

  • The time limit of TS LAWCET 2018 will be 90 minutes.

Question type and Mark allotment :

  • TS LAWCET 2018 Exam Pattern will consist of 120 questions divided into three parts.
  • Questions will be Multiple Choice based and objective, with four options given for each question.
  • The exam pattern of TS LAWCET 2018 will be based on the TS LAWCET syllabus and the questions will be divided into various topics.

Marking Pattern :

  • TS LAWCET 2018 will consist of a total of 120 questions, each carrying one mark.
  • Candidates can score a maximum of 120 marks as there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Candidates cannot mark 2 options for the same question as they will not be evaluated for the same.

Medium of Exam :

  • TS LAWCET 2018 question paper will be set in English and Telugu languages to make it easier for candidates to attempt the questions in the language of their choice.

Question Standard :

  • The exam pattern of TS LAWCET 2018 will be similar for those pursuing the Three Year Law course and Five Year Law course but the standard of questions asked will be different, appropriate to the candidate’s qualifications.
  • Candidates appearing for the Three Year LL.B course will be asked questions of degree level.
  • Candidates appearing for the Five Year LL.B course will be asked questions from the Intermediate level.

Qualifying Marks :

  • Candidates will have to score a minimum of 42 marks out of 120.
  • They should get at least 35% of questions right in order to be considered eligible for TS LAWCET assessment and qualify for TS LAWCET 2018 ranking.
  • SC/ST candidates do not need any minimum qualifying marks to be considered eligible for TS LAWCET 2018.

Points to remember on TS LAWCET Exam Pattern 2018 :

  • As TS LAWCET 2018 will be in offline mode and take place in pen and paper format, candidates should carry with them a black or blue ball point pen to the TS LAWCET Exam Centre.
  • An Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet will be provided to every TS LAWCET candidate to mark their answers.
  • Candidates can mark their answers on the OMR sheet by using their black/blue pen to shade the appropriate option.
  • Candidates should handle their TS LAWCET Answer Sheet with care as they will not be given a second OMR sheet for any reason.
  • Folding, wrinkling, tearing or inappropriately marking on the OMR sheet will render it invalid.
  • Only upon completion of TS LAWCET 2018 will candidates be allowed to leave their seats.
  • They should return their TS LAWCET OMR Answer Sheet to the invigilator but will be allowed to carry their question paper with them.
