What is LSAT Exam :-

  • LSAT stands for Law School Admission Test which is conducted for admission into many under graduate and post graduate courses offered by Law Schools in India.
  • Candidates have the benefit of taking a single test - the LSAT-India - to become eligible for the admissions process of multiple law colleges in India which recognize the LSAT-India scores.
  • The Law School Admission Test (LSAT 2018) is a world-wide level entrance examination.
  • LSAT exam is organized to offer admission into various Law colleges/institutions of India and Foreign countries.
  • LSAT India exam will be conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), USA.
  • In India, this exam is conducted only once in a year.
  • Through this exam candidates of India can get the opportunity to get admission in law courses offered in various countries like Canada and USA. 
  • After completing the LSAT-India registration, candidates can apply to the associated colleges (colleges which will accept LSAT-India scores).
  • Candidates can choose to apply to any or all of the associated colleges, however, LSAT-India scores will be given to all associated colleges.

LSAT Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria :-

  • For BA LLB course, candidates should have cleared 12th or equivalent examination with securing minimum 45% marks.
  • For LLB courses, students must have a bachelor degree in any subject with scoring minimum 45% aggregate.
  • For LLM course, candidates should have passed Three year (LLB) or five-year (BA LLB) exam with securing minimum 45% marks.
  • Candidates appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
  • There is no definite age criteria for filling the applications for any of the law programmes offered at either undergraduate or postgraduate level of study.

LSAT Exam Application Process :-

  • The LSAT 2018 Registration was done via online process through the official website of LSAC. 
  • Except online mode, no any other mode was entertained to fill the application form.  
  • The registration process will start form the second week of September 2017 till 1st week of May 2018.
  • Candidates must upload their scanned image of recent photograph and signature.
  • Pay the application fee through offline or online mode.
  • In case paying through offline mode, the pay order/banker’s cheque must be drawn in the favor of Pearson India Education Services Private Limited payable at New Delhi or NOIDA.
Application Fee:
  • LSAT India registration fee will be Rs. 3800/- without official LSAT India handbook.
  • The application fee can be paid through credit card/debit card or net banking.
