Registration Dates

Registration dates for the AILET 2018 are not announced yet, it is expected to be announced by the first week of January 2018. The application process will commence with the registration with the applicatio. The application process will continue till April tentatively. The AILET Exam will be in the month of the  May. Further information on AILET registration dates are mentioned below.

Application Form and Registration


AILET 2018 application forms began from January 1 for BA LLB and LLM admissions for the academic year 2018. Before filling the application form of AILET 2018, candidates needed to get themselves registered by providing a valid e-mail and setting password for the same. Further, while filling the application form, they needed to upload photograph and signature image in the specified dimensions. The AILET 2018 application forms could be submitted only after remitting fee of Rs. 3000.

AILET 2018 Eligibility Criteria


AILET 2018 Eligibility Criteria would vary on various factors. Eligibility criteria for BA LLB, LLM and PHD exam would be different. 

Eligibility criteria for AILET BA LLB

To take admission in National Law University in BA LLB candidate must satisfy following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board.
  • Candidate must have scored minimum 50% marks in 10+2 to qualify to take AILET exam
  • For foreign nationals minimum qualifying marks in 10+2 or equivalent is 65%
  • Candidates in the final year can also take the examination and will be given admission on the provisional basis, however the university holds the right to cancel the admission, if candidate is unable to submit the proof of eligibility, within a prescribed period of time.
Age Limit
  • Candidate should be less than 20 years of age as on 1st July 2018.
  • Candidates from the reserved category will be given exemption of 2 years and age limit for the scheduled caste candidates is 22 years.
Application Fees and Payment

Application fees for All India Law Entrance Test is INR 3000. For candidates from reserved category ie, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe application fees is INR 1000. And candidates from scheduled caste and scheduled tribe below poverty line there is no application fees. Please refer the table below details.
